Erik Linder and Shelly Meshkausk

Erik and Shelly have been dance partners for a year and a half and dance both the Latin and Ballroom styles. They have developed an amazing partnership that is reflected in their unique expression and passion for dance. Erik is from Lake Stevens, Washington and Shelly is from Southborough, Massachusetts. The long distance wasn’t going to stop their love of dancing with each other which meant that they would have had to travel between the two states every 2-3 weeks to train together and go to school in addition to travelling to competitions in the US and internationally.

Erik and Shelly consistently place first or second at all major US competitions as well as winning the Best of the Best Youth Showdance at Ohio Star Ball. These are remarkable results for being a relatively new partnership. Erik and Shelly also competed in their first world championships as a couple in Paris last December with an impressive 5th place in the Fred Astaire Cup. They plan to compete again in Paris this year and at the prestigious Blackpool Dance Festival, England in May. In addition to their dancing achievements, Erik and Shelly have started EIRIKER.COM a business making handmade bracelets which are worn by fans around the world. They are also brand ambassadors for AIDA, Shok Shop and RS Atelier.

Shelly is a senior in high school. She grew up with dancing in her family and excelled from a very young age. With multiple national titles and as national finalist she has won many accolades. Shelly also teaches dance and does hair and makeup for dance competitors.

Erik graduated from high school this past June and is interested in business along with his career in dancing. Erik started dancing at the age of 4 and has been going strong ever since. Some of his many past achievements include 2015 Under 16 Ballroom World Champion, 5th in Junior Blackpool Latin, numerous national titles, semi finalist on America’s Got Talent and guest dancer on Dancing With The Stars and The Oprah Show. Erik also has several students he dances with.

With all of the achievements in their dancing, the best part for Erik and Shelly is the joy they have for dancing together and sharing that joy with others. ErikAndShelly.com

Lazar Isakharov and Natalie Gohman

Lazar & Natalie have been dancing together for two years.

Lazar started taking classes with his older sister at the age of 3. He was National Champion in ballroom and Latin in Bronze, Silver and third in Gold going through his Pre-teen and Junior dancing.

Natalie is an accomplished ballet and contemporary dancer. She started Ballrom & Latin two years ago and took it as seriously as she does everything she is passionate about.

Once Lazar & Natalie met, the match of dedication and love for dance, diligence in training and passion in performing was obvious.

Anya Klimova-Preston, an international judge and coach, has been training then in Standard and Latin throughout all their dance years. They train in Standard & Latin as well as take modern and contemporary dance. The couple is blessed with support of it’s families in travel for competitions around the country.

Last year Lazar & Natalie won Bronze medals in Pre-championship and Novice Standard at USA Dance National Championships in Baltimore, MD.

Their ambitious plans make them work hard on the way to the top of the dance Olimpus and they do it with all their hearts and souls.

We are indeed honored to present as this year’s Crystal Ball featured performers…ERIK LINDER & SHELLY MESHKAUSK along with LAZAR ISAKHAROV & NATALIE GOHMAN
